Hi, I'm Alex! I'm a highly motivated graduating interior design student who is passionate about making a positive environmental impact. I am committed to expanding my knowledge and experience in order to create sustainable environments that balance aesthetics with functionality, and enhance the wellbeing of the community.
I have a solid foundation with Studio Arts and it is expressed in my interior design through the balance of form and function.
My aspirations are to work within the commercial field with a design firm that prioritizes sustainable and green design.
The Crescent Wetlands Museum located in New Orleans, LA aims to educate and set in motion community action to restore and protect Louisiana’s coastal wetlands.
The Crescent supports the Golden Triangle Marsh Creation Project, which will not only revive estuarine habitats for native wildlife, but will also create a protective flood buffer on the Gulf Coast that supports the existing levee systems in the wake of climate change.
Through green infrastructure, interactive multisensory spaces, and immersive sustainable design, the Crescent instills a sense of passion and responsibility in the public to care for the natural world for future generations.
