ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Saki Yamamoto.
I am a senior majoring in Interior Design at California State University, Fresno.
I was born and raised in Japan. I studied at a Japanese college and transferred to Fresno State. Studying design abroad allowed me to learn about a new country and its culture while developing my artistic and design skills. This experience helped me to identify my interests and strengths.
I enjoy nature and design. My design process explores ways in which sustainability and biophilic design elements can be implemented to improve the overall health and well-being of those who inhabit the spaces.
I am near the end of the program. My goal is to create interior environments that cater to the needs of humanity and benefit society. I look forward to my new career, and I aspire to advance my skills as I continue my journey after this degree.
