"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." -Walt Disney
My name is Tyler Duncan, an interior design graduate from California State University, Fresno. Ever since I can remember I always dreamt of being an Imagineer for Disney. I never really knew where I could fit into Walt Disney Imagineering, or what I was even good at. There was never a moment that I can recall that wasn't filled with my imagination running wild of the immense possibilities of Disney Parks around the world.
While at Fresno State I took an interior design course and immediately fell in love with it. This was where I knew I belonged. I had finally found the path to my end goal. I have been fortunate to be able to work on so many projects that have been related to Imagineering in some way.
My creativity and imagination stems from my parents allowing me to be so expressive in everything I did. I wouldn't have the dreams and goals, and ultimately the necessary tools to achieve those dreams and goals, if it weren't for them.
I would like to leave you with one of my favorite Walt Disney quotes. One that inspired me to dream to be an Imagineer.
"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." -Walt Disney
Adventure Through the Amazon
The brand new E-Ticket attraction, Adventure Through the Amazon, located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not the only new experience to come to this area. The former Dinoland, U.S.A. will make way for a new land to represent the continent of South America. The main attraction will encompass the Amazon Rainforest, and other areas of the land will represent real-life and fictional locations in South America. Adventure Through the Amazon is a retheming of the ride, DINOSAUR, that utilizes the same building and track of the former attraction. The use of biomimicry and biophilia will help to recreate the Amazon Rainforest in the attraction that will bring a sense of realism to this adventure.
